Republican Committeeman Davis fills 100% of Election Judge spots in the 44th Ward

Republican Committeeman Scott Davis has recruited enough Republican Election Judge candidates to fill 100% of the available spots in the 44th Ward for the upcoming November 6th election.  Voters will elect President and Vice President, state and federal lawmakers, county officials and judges on November 6th, 2012.

With the help of Chicago GOP Chairman Adam Robinson, Cook County GOP Chairman Aaron Del Mar, the Chicago Board of Elections and Chicago GOP volunteers, the 44th Ward is one of the first in the city to achieve the goal of filling 100% of available Republican Election Judge spots with solid Republican voters from the 44th Ward community.  Election Judge Candidates will now be scheduled for training by the Chicago Board of Elections and will soon receive a letter in the mail with further details and instructions.

As a reminder, here is a list of important information and dates for the November 6th Election:
  • Voter Registration Deadline is October 9th.
  • Grace Period Voting for anyone not registered to vote by October 9 begins October 10th and continues thru November 3rd. Grace period voting is only possible in person at the Election Board Office at 69 W. Washington, Suite 600 in Chicago. 
  • Early Voting Begins October 22nd and runs thru November 3rd.  You must show a Government photo ID to vote early.  All sites are Open Mon-Sat, 9-5.
  • The Early Voting location for the 44th Ward is Merlo Library, 644 W. Belmont Ave.
  • Absentee Voting Applications will be available through the Board of Elections Office in early October.
  • Tuesday, November 6th, 2012 is elections Day!
